When you search for a car

The website uses your pickup and return locations, dates and times to prepare a search. Submitting the form opens our branded search-results page in the same browser tab. Your choices are included in that page’s URL and sent to the CityGo Rentals booking service, which loads within the page. That service receives the search request together with normal browser connection information.

The website does not save your availability search to its own customer database. Search URLs can remain in browser history and hosting access logs. Avoid sharing a search URL if you do not want to share your travel dates and locations.

Booking and payment information

The embedded booking service may use cookies and process the reservation, driver, contact and payment information you provide. The “Open booking directly” fallback opens that service in the same tab. Review the privacy information and rental agreement displayed by the booking service before submitting personal information or paying. Searching alone does not confirm a reservation.

Optional Google Analytics

Google Analytics is loaded only after you choose “Accept analytics”. You can reject it and continue searching and booking. When enabled, it measures page visits, booking searches and phone or email link clicks. Analytics page URLs omit query strings; the website does not send booking form values, personal contact details or payment information as Analytics event parameters. Advertising features are disabled in the website configuration.

Your analytics choice is stored in this browser for up to 180 days. Use “Cookie settings” in the footer to change it. Other browser storage and external services

Interactive guide checklists, where available, save progress locally in this browser. Their reset control clears that checklist. The cost worksheet calculates amounts in your browser without submitting them. Embedded maps, external links and the booking service are provided by other services and may process connection information under their own policies.

For questions about information held in a reservation, contact the team with your reservation reference. Do not email card numbers, security codes or identity documents unless the team has given you an appropriate secure method.
